Freight transport Germany
Germany is the most important destination for goods from Romania. We run trips in both directions, from a single pallet to a full truckload, with a transit time of 2–4 days with one driver or less with two drivers.
Freight transport Romania – Germany, in both directions
On the Romania–Germany route, the goods are mostly automotive components and parts, electrical equipment, industrial machinery, furniture, textiles and food products. Many factories in Germany work just-in-time, so besides full trucks we also run urgent van trips for parts that must arrive at a certain time.
For freight transport to Germany we organise:
- Full truckload (FTL): a 13.6 m semi-trailer just for your goods, directly from loading to unloading;
- Pallet groupage (LTL): for a few pallets or a partial load, priced per loading metre;
- Express van: for urgent parts and samples, with one or two drivers;
- Refrigerated transport: for food and temperature-sensitive goods, with ATP vehicles;
- ADR transport and oversize transport: with the documents and permits required in Germany and in the transit countries.

The route to Germany
Trucks leave the country via Nădlac or Borș and cross Hungary. To southern Germany (Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg), the road continues through Austria, via Vienna, Linz and Passau. To the north and east (Saxony, Berlin, Hamburg), trucks usually go through Slovakia and the Czech Republic, via Brno and Prague. Germany and Austria keep temporary checks at some internal borders, so short waits may occur at entry.
Road tolls and traffic restrictions
In Germany, trucks over 3.5 t pay the road toll (Lkw-Maut) on motorways and federal roads, calculated per kilometre according to weight, number of axles and emission class. On Sundays and public holidays, trucks over 7.5 t may not drive between 0:00 and 22:00, and in July and August the restriction extends to Saturdays on the main motorways. We plan Friday loadings so that the goods do not sit in a car park all weekend.
Documents for freight transport to Germany
As it is a member of the European Union, goods move to Germany without customs formalities. For the transport you need an invoice or delivery note, the CMR consignment note, completed at loading and signed by the consignee at delivery, and the UIT code from RO e-Transport, if the shipment leaves Romania and exceeds the thresholds.
Special goods need additional documents: the safety data sheet and ADR documents for dangerous goods, the vehicle's ATP certificate for perishable food, or the special permits for oversize loads, issued in each country along the route.
Transport from Germany to Romania
From Germany we bring to Romania machinery, parts and components, building materials, packaging and palletised goods for distribution. The price differs from one direction to the other, depending on how many trucks are available on that route that week.

Do you transport car parts just-in-time?
Yes. For urgent parts we use dedicated vans or trucks, with a double crew if needed, and we agree the delivery time at the customer's ramp from the start.
Can you deliver to a warehouse in Germany by appointment?
Yes. Many German warehouses work with scheduled delivery windows (Zeitfenster). You send us the appointment number or the warehouse details, and we plan the trip so that we arrive within the booked window.
How long does freight transport from Romania to Germany take?
With one driver, the typical transit time is 2–3 days in the south and east, 3–4 days in the west and north, counted from Bucharest, and 1–2 days with two drivers. The exact time depends on the loading and delivery cities, on the departure day and on the weekend restrictions along the route.
How much does freight transport to Germany cost?
The price depends on the distance, the road tolls in the countries along the route, the type of vehicle, how fast the goods must arrive and how many trucks are available on that route. Send us the addresses, the date, and the type and weight of the goods and you will get the price within 30 minutes during opening hours.
Do you also offer pallet groupage to Germany?
Yes. For a few pallets or a partial load to Germany we use international groupage: you pay only for the space you use, per loading metre or per pallet, and the transit time is 1–3 days longer than for a full truckload.
What documents do I need for a shipment to Germany?
As this is an EU country, no customs formalities are needed for Germany: the invoice, the CMR consignment note and the UIT code from RO e-Transport are enough, if the shipment leaves Romania and exceeds the thresholds. Dangerous, perishable or oversize goods need additional documents.
Do you also transport goods from Germany to Romania?
Yes. We run trips in both directions, loading anywhere in Germany and delivering anywhere in Romania.
