Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Weload Express SRL, tax ID (CUI) 52343427, Trade Register no. J2025061905004, with its registered office at Str. Libertății nr. 55A, Bolintin-Vale, County Giurgiu. You can write to us at any time at contact@transport-marfa.com.

What data we collect

from the quote request: the loading and delivery locations, the date, the description of the goods, your name, company, phone number and email;
from the carrier sign-up form: the company details, the tax ID, the contact person, phone number, email, vehicles and routes;
from the contact form: your name, email, phone number if you provide it, and your message;
technical data recorded automatically by the hosting server, such as the IP address, the date and the page visited, for the security of the website.

Why we use the data and on what legal basis

to send you the quote and organise the transport, at your request: Article 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
to meet our legal obligations, for example accounting and tax obligations: Article 6(1)(c);
for our legitimate interest in keeping a record of requests, defending our rights and protecting the website against abuse: Article 6(1)(f).

We do not use the data for marketing without your consent and we do not take automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.

Who we share the data with

the carrier who performs the trip, only the data needed for the transport, for example the contact person at loading and unloading;
providers who help us operate: web hosting, email, customer management software, accounting;
public authorities, when the law requires us to.

We do not sell your data.

How long we keep the data

quote requests that do not become orders: at most 12 months after the last conversation;
data from transport orders and invoices: for the period required by accounting and tax law;
carrier sign-ups: for the duration of the cooperation and at most 12 months after the last trip or after the sign-up was rejected;
messages sent through the contact form: at most 12 months.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

As a rule, we do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area. The exception is a trip departing from or going to a country outside the EEA, when we pass to the carrier and to partners in that country only the data needed to carry out the transport.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to us at contact@transport-marfa.com and we will reply within one month at the latest.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or with the data protection authority of your own country.

Cookies

The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not load third-party scripts. The fonts are hosted on the same server. If submitting a form fails, the data you entered stays temporarily only in your browser (sessionStorage) so that you do not have to fill it in again, and it is deleted when you close the tab.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the forms send the data directly to our server.

Changes

We may update this policy when the way we process data changes. The version in force is always the one on this page.
