The route to Poland

Trucks go through Hungary and Slovakia, entering Poland at Chyżne or Barwinek, towards Kraków and Katowice. To western Poland (Wrocław, Poznań), trucks often go through the Czech Republic. On the mountain roads in Slovakia and southern Poland, winter can add time to the trip.

Road tolls and traffic restrictions

In Poland, trucks over 3.5 t pay the road toll through the e-TOLL system, on toll motorways and roads. Trucks over 12 t have traffic restrictions on public holidays and, in summer, at certain times on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. On the way, the tolls in Hungary and Slovakia are added.

Documents for freight transport to Poland

As it is a member of the European Union, goods move to Poland without customs formalities. For the transport you need an invoice or delivery note, the CMR consignment note, completed at loading and signed by the consignee at delivery, and the UIT code from RO e-Transport, if the shipment leaves Romania and exceeds the thresholds.

Special goods need additional documents: the safety data sheet and ADR documents for dangerous goods, the vehicle's ATP certificate for perishable food, or the special permits for oversize loads, issued in each country along the route.

Transport from Poland to Romania

From Poland we bring to Romania food, furniture, household appliances, building materials, packaging and palletised goods for distribution.
