Freight transport Czech Republic
The Czech Republic has one of the strongest car industries in Europe and a dense network of suppliers, many with partners in Romania. We run full truckload, groupage and van trips to Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Pilsen and Mladá Boleslav, in both directions.
Freight transport Romania – Czech Republic, in both directions
On the Romania–Czech Republic route travel car components and parts, electrical equipment, industrial machinery, glass, chemical products and food. For factories working just-in-time we organise dedicated trips, with the delivery time agreed from the start.
For freight transport to the Czech Republic we organise:
- Full truckload (FTL): a 13.6 m semi-trailer just for your goods, directly from loading to unloading;
- Pallet groupage (LTL): for a few pallets or a partial load, priced per loading metre;
- Express van: for urgent parts and samples, with one or two drivers;
- Refrigerated transport: for food and temperature-sensitive goods, with ATP vehicles;
- ADR transport and oversize transport: with the documents and permits required in the Czech Republic and in the transit countries.

The route to the Czech Republic
Trucks cross Hungary and Slovakia, via Bratislava, and enter the Czech Republic towards Brno, then continue on the D1 motorway to Prague. To Ostrava and northern Moravia, trucks can also go through north-western Slovakia, via Žilina.
Road tolls and traffic restrictions
In the Czech Republic, trucks over 3.5 t pay the electronic road toll on motorways and main roads. Trucks over 7.5 t do not drive on Sundays and public holidays between 13:00 and 22:00, and in summer there are extra restrictions on some Fridays and Saturdays.
Documents for freight transport to the Czech Republic
As it is a member of the European Union, goods move to the Czech Republic without customs formalities. For the transport you need an invoice or delivery note, the CMR consignment note, completed at loading and signed by the consignee at delivery, and the UIT code from RO e-Transport, if the shipment leaves Romania and exceeds the thresholds.
Special goods need additional documents: the safety data sheet and ADR documents for dangerous goods, the vehicle's ATP certificate for perishable food, or the special permits for oversize loads, issued in each country along the route.
Transport from the Czech Republic to Romania
From the Czech Republic we bring to Romania car components, equipment, glass products, building materials and palletised goods.

Do you deliver to the car factories in Mladá Boleslav or Kolín?
Yes. We organise dedicated trips to the factories and suppliers of the car industry in the Czech Republic, with the delivery appointment at the ramp indicated by the customer.
How long does freight transport Romania–Czech Republic take?
With one driver, usually 1–2 days to Brno and 2–3 days to Ostrava, Prague or Pilsen.
How much does freight transport to the Czech Republic cost?
The price depends on the distance, the road tolls in the countries along the route, the type of vehicle, how fast the goods must arrive and how many trucks are available on that route. Send us the addresses, the date, and the type and weight of the goods and you will get the price within 30 minutes during opening hours.
Do you also offer pallet groupage to the Czech Republic?
Yes. For a few pallets or a partial load to the Czech Republic we use international groupage: you pay only for the space you use, per loading metre or per pallet, and the transit time is 1–3 days longer than for a full truckload.
What documents do I need for a shipment to the Czech Republic?
As this is an EU country, no customs formalities are needed for the Czech Republic: the invoice, the CMR consignment note and the UIT code from RO e-Transport are enough, if the shipment leaves Romania and exceeds the thresholds. Dangerous, perishable or oversize goods need additional documents.

Yes. We run trips in both directions, loading anywhere in the Czech Republic and delivering anywhere in Romania.
